"Python Studio - Python Coding" (the "Product" or "We") refers to the mobile application developed and provided by Shanghai Dazhuo Information Technology Co., Ltd. "You" refers to the users of our Product.
In particular, the Product is an offline programming tool that runs entirely on your device. Your code, files and usage data are by default stored locally on your device, and We will not upload any of your code, files or content to any server.
I. Statement
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Product and services or in laws and regulations. Please check this page periodically to acknowledge the latest version. In case of any material changes, We will notify you through in-app notices or the like before they take effect.
II. Applicable scope of the terms
By using the Product, You consent to the application of this Privacy Policy to You. If You do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Product. If You have begun using the Product, please stop it immediately. Your use of Our Products and services signifies that You consent to this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy offers answers to the following questions:
(1) What kind of information We may collect and why We collect such information;
(2) How We use the information;
(3) Your choices and rights;
(4) Your obligations in respect of privacy protection; and

III. Information We collect
1. No registration required
The Product does not require an account. You do not need to provide personal information such as your name, e-mail address or phone number to use its core features.
2. Data stored locally
The data generated while You write and run code, create notebooks (.ipynb) or other files, as well as settings such as your interface language, shortcuts and custom symbols, is stored in your device's application sandbox to provide editing, running and file management features on your device. This data is not uploaded to any server.
3. Subscription and purchase information
When You subscribe to the membership plan or make any in-app purchase, the payment and subscription information is processed and recorded by Apple (iTunes / App Store). We only receive basic subscription status information (e.g. whether You are subscribed and the expiration date) in order to provide the corresponding membership features. We cannot and do not obtain your payment details.
4. Technical information (if applicable)
In order to troubleshoot crashes and improve the product experience, We may collect technical logs that do not contain personally identifiable information. Such information is not used to identify You.
IV. How We use the information
We use the information described above only for the following purposes:
(1) to provide core features such as editing, running and file management on your device;
(2) to provide the corresponding membership features based on your purchase/subscription status; and
(3) to improve the product experience and to troubleshoot and fix issues.
We do not use your code or file contents for any analysis, training or promotion.
V. Content You create or access
Content You access with the built-in browser, as well as files You transfer through features such as WiFi Transfer or WebDAV, is under Your control. Please only transfer and store files You are authorized to use, and be mindful of any third-party rights in such content.
VI. Storage and security of information
All of your code, files and personal settings are stored on your device and do not go through our servers. Since your data lives on your device, please protect your device with appropriate security measures (e.g. a screen lock) and back up your local data as needed through the file management features. You may delete any local file at any time.
VII. Sharing of information
We do not sell, rent or share your code, files or personal information with any third party, unless:
(1) it is expressly required by laws, governmental or judicial organizations; or
(2) You have given your explicit consent.
VIII. Privacy terms applicable to juveniles
We take the security and protection of juveniles' privacy and data very seriously. The Product does not involve registration-based services. If You are a juvenile, please use the Product under the guidance of a guardian.
IX. Amendment to this Privacy Policy
We may make appropriate adjustments to this policy based on changes in business development and in laws and policies. If We modify this Privacy Policy, We will notify You through in-app notices or announcements on this page. The revised policy takes effect on the date indicated in it.
